Neometals (ASX:NMT) said reverse circulation drilling at the Barrambie Ranges gold trend and the Golden Treasure mine, at its Barrambie gold project in Western Australia, returned anomalous gold values in 21 of the 26 holes drilled, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered intercepts of two meters at 19.41 grams per tonne grade of gold from 111 meters, as well as five meters at 5.64 g/t grade of gold from 84 meters.

The drill data will inform follow-up exploration planning in the vicinity of the Golden Treasure mine and along strike at the Barrambie Ranges trend.

Its shares rose 4% in recent trading on Thursday.
