Shares of EquipmentShare.com are set to make their trading debut Friday after the construction equipment rental company's initial public offering was priced at the midpoint of expectations, giving it an initial market capitalization topping $6 billion.

EquipmentShare.com late Thursday said it is selling 30.5 million shares at $24.50 each in the IPO, compared with an expected price range of $23.50 to $25.50 apiece.

The pricing gives the Columbia, Mo., company, which previously said it would have about 251.3 million shares outstanding after the IPO, a market capitalization of around $6.16 billion.

EquipmentShare.com shares are due to begin trading later Friday on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol EQPT.
