Amplitude Energy (ASX:AEL) started drilling at Elanora-1 in Victoria, its East Coast Supply project well, at permit VIC/L24, in which the company holds a 50% interest, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company expects to take about 20 to 30 days to drill the well to a planned maximum total depth of up to around 2,000 meters True Vertical Depth Sub-Sea, followed by four to seven days of evaluation, the filing said.
Upon completion of the program, the well will be plugged and a sidetrack into the Isabella prospect, expected to take about 14 to 18 days, the filing added.
