Hong Kong's SFC, UAE Regulator Sign MoU on Cross-Border Digital Asset Supervision

Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the UAE's Capital Market Authority signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cross-border cooperation on digital asset regulation, according to a Tuesday press release.

The agreement is the SFC's first supervisory memorandum with an overseas regulator focused specifically on regulated digital asset entities and establishes a framework for consultation, information exchange, and cross-border supervision.
