Royal Caribbean's RCL, MSC Cruises Get European Commission Approval For Joint Venture

Royal Caribbean's (RCL) RCL Cruises UK subsidiary and MSC Cruises have received European Commission approval to create a joint venture mainly related to the construction and management of a new cruise terminal in the port of Kagoshima in Japan, the commission said Monday.

The transaction would not raise competition concerns, given its limited impact on the European Economic Area, the European Commission said.
