European Defense Stocks Fall After Ukraine's Zelensky Says Security Guarantees Agreed On -- Market Talk

1026 GMT - European defense stocks are down after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that a U.S. document on security guarantees for the war-torn Eastern European country is ready, and the Ukrainian government is waiting for a date for it to be signed. Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri and German sensors provider Hensoldt drop 2.8% each, while German defense company Renk Group loses 2.25%. Sweden's Saab is down 1.8%, closely followed by Dassault Aviation which dips 1.7%. Leonardo falls 1.2%, Rheinmetall loses 1.15%, and BAE Systems is down 0.9%. (cristina.gallardo@wsj.com)
