Hewlett Packard Enterprise is working with 2degrees to build an artificial-intelligence platform that stores the telecommunications and technology provider's data on shore in New Zealand.
HPE said Monday the new platform aims to allow 2degrees to deliver better network performance and more resilient, predictable and scalable networks to its customers.
The platform also aims to boost security by storing customer and operational data in New Zealand, where 2degrees is based, HPE said.
Initial AI use cases include autonomous network operations, predictive maintenance and AI-powered capacity planning.
The platform is built on HPE's Private Cloud AI, which was co-developed with Nvidia.
