Victory Metals (ASX:VTM) said it cleared a previously registered heritage site covering an around 1,000-acre tenure immediately adjoining heavy rare earth mineralization at its North Stanmore heavy rare earth elements project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the heritage site was previously registered with inaccurate information, and heritage surveys conducted in close collaboration with the Wajarri Yamaji group, the traditional owners, confirmed that site contained no heritage values.
The Western Australian Department of Planning, Lands, and Heritage has been notified to remove the registration under the direction of the Wajarri Yamaji group, per the filing.
Victory Metals' shares fell nearly 1% in recent trading on Tuesday.
