European Lithium to Acquire US-Based Titanium Company; Shares Down 5%

European Lithium (ASX:EUR) agreed to acquire 100% of US-based titanium firm Velta for a total consideration of about 173 million shares in the company, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The transaction is subject to the completion of final due diligence and satisfaction of customary conditions precedent, the filing said.

European Lithium shares fell nearly 5% in midday trade Tuesday.
