Datavault AI (DVLT) said Wednesday it signed an agreement with sports media brand Sports Illustrated.
Financial details were not provided.
Under the deal, Sports Illustrated, Datavault AI and other partners will explore a potential collaboration to develop a digital asset exchange platform for athlete names, images and likeness, which would be supported by Datavault AI's technology, the company said.
Datavault AI and Sports Illustrated will explore expanding the collaboration into a definitive brand licensing deal with the target of a commercial launch of the platform in H2, Datavault AI said.
