Instacart, Allegiance Retail Expand Partnership to Bring 'Caper Carts' to Foodtown

Instacart (CART) said Tuesday it has expanded its partnership with Allegiance Retail Services to bring "Caper Carts" to select Foodtown stores and introduce new omnichannel capabilities to connect Allegiance's digital platforms, loyalty programs and in-store operations.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Instacart is also collaborating with AppCard, Allegiance's loyalty provider, to deliver unified rewards, digital promotions and coupons across both online and in-store shopping, the company said.

Shares of Instacart were down more than 6% in recent Tuesday trading.
