United Airlines (UAL) said Tuesday it will operate up to 750 flights per day from Chicago O'Hare International Airport this summer, about 200 more than its next-largest competitor.
The airline said that throughout 2026 it will offer nonstop service from Chicago to 222 destinations, including 47 international and 175 US cities.
Beginning as early as April, United said it will expand service across the Midwest, including Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin, while also strengthening its presence in major markets such as Boston, Nashville, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas.
United said it plans to hire about 2,500 additional employees at O'Hare International Airport by year-end.
