Redwire Shares Up After Receiving Missile-Defense Contract

Shares of Redwire rallied premarket after the maker of defense technology received a contract related to the Golden Dome missile-defense system.

The Jacksonville, Fla., maker of technology such as orbital drones, satellites and sensors, said it received a contract for the Missile Defense Agency's Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense project.

In December, the Pentagon said it was selecting contractors for this Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract, with a ceiling of $151 billion.

Shares rose 9.4% to $11.99 premarket.
