North Sea Crude-Sverdrup trades

LONDON, Jan 26 (Reuters) - North Sea Johan Sverdrup, which is not one of the grades in the dated Brent benchmark, traded on Monday in the Platts window, while Ekofisk was bid and Forties was on offer.

PLATTS WINDOW

  • Indications are on a free-on-board (FOB) basis unless marked as cost, insurance and freight $(CIF)$ or delivered at place (DAP).

  • Johan Sverdrup: Equinor bought a February 17-19 cargo from CNOOC at dated Brent minus $1.45.

  • The deal level was a touch lower than where CNOOC offered similar dates on Friday, at dated Brent minus $1.40.

  • Ekofisk: Socar bid for a February 13-15 cargo at dated Brent plus $2.55.

  • Ekofisk: Shell withdrew an offer for February 16-18 at dated plus $2.45.

  • On Friday, Shell offered an Ekofisk cargo loading February 16-18 at dated Brent plus $2.85 without finding a buyer.

  • Forties: Equinor offered a February 20-22 cargo at dated Brent plus $2.30.

  • On Friday, Equinor offered the same dates at dated plus $2.60.

  • WTI Midland: Gunvor withdrew a bid for a February 8-19 cargo at dated Brent plus $3.20 CIF Rotterdam.

  • The withdrawn bid equated to around dated plus $1.69 on an FOB basis, according to Reuters calculations.

  • On Friday, Repsol sold WTI Midland to Gunvor for February 9-13 at dated Brent plus $2.95 a barrel CIF Rotterdam.
