Gran Tierra Energy (GTE) shares rose 8.6% in recent Thursday trading after the company said it achieved its highest monthly average production in December at 48,235 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
The company said that based on preliminary, unaudited financial results, Q4 average production was about 46,500 BOEPD, and full-year 2025 average production was about 45,800 barrels per day.
Revenue is estimated to be between $590 million and $610 million, and gross profit is expected in the range of $65 million to $75 million, the company said. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization are estimated at $270 million to $290 million, Gran Tierra added.
In Ecuador, Gran Tierra said it produced about 10,000 barrels of oil per day during Q4, with current production at around 8,800 barrels per day. Its Q4 results were affected by an inventory build of about 291,000 barrels of oil in Ecuador, which were sold in early January for roughly $15 million in revenue, the company said.
