Image credit: Xpeng Aridge)\nXpeng's (NYSE: XPEV, HKG: 9868) flying car unit Aridge has begun marketing activities similar to pre-launch campaigns in the automotive industry as it targets mass production of flying cars within this year.\nAridge on Friday introduced the carrier vehicle for its modular flying car, the Land Aircraft Carrier, on Weibo and unveiled three exterior colors: Stellar Silver, Moonrock Gray, and Supernova White.\nThese colors draw inspiration from the cosmos, with Aridge providing the following descriptions:\n\n\nJoin us on \nTelegram\n or \nGoogle News\n\n\n\n\nStellar Silver — Derived from the rings of giant planets, the matte silver represents countless ice dust particles orbiting in precise gravitational paths.\nMoonrock Gray — Inspired by ancient lunar regolith formed through billions of meteorite impacts on the moon's surface.\nSupernova White — Originating from the ultimate radiance released during a supernova explosion, it is a dazzling pure white transcending galaxies.\n\n\n\"Born from the cosmos, destined for the city, crafted for the sky,\" Aridge wrote on Weibo.\n\nThe company has not disclosed further details.\nAridge originated in 2013 and was formally established in 2020 as the majority-owned technology division of Guangzhou-based Xpeng and its chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng.\nIt operated under the name Xpeng Aeroht for several years before rebranding to Aridge in October 2025.\nAridge's development roadmap will include Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) flying cars and modular flying cars, it previously said.\nThe complete Land Aircraft Carrier modular flying car system comprises a flying car and a mother vehicle capable of recharging it.\n\nAridge would achieve mass production and delivery of the modular flying car in 2026, with a price not exceeding RMB 2 million ($287,730), its founder and president Zhao Deli announced at a press conference on September 3, 2024.\nIn November 2025, Aridge produced the first flying unit of the Land Aircraft Carrier modular flying car at its Guangzhou factory.\nThe facility, spanning about 120,000 square meters, is the world's first factory utilizing modern assembly lines for mass-producing flying cars, the company said.\nThe facility has an initial annual production capacity of 5,000 units, expanding to 10,000 units at full capacity.
