China Merchants Energy Shipping (SHA:601872) said it has taken delivery in Dalian City, China, of a 175,000-cubic-meter large liquefied natural gas carrier, called the Haihan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The Haihan is the second of the LNG carriers the company ordered from Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Group.
The fleet operator currently manages and operates 32 vessels, but also expects four additional LNG carriers as part of the CLNG's Qatar Phase I project.
The company's shares dropped less than 4% during the afternoon trade.
