BUZZ-US energy stocks slide as crude prices drop

** Shares of U.S. energy companies down premarket, tracking a decline in crude prices O/R

** Brent crude futures LCOc1 down 1.1% at $69.94/barrel and U.S. West Texas Intermediate $(WTI)$ crude futures CLc1 fall 1.2% to $64.65/barrel

** Crude prices slip as signs of possible U.S.–Iran nuclear dialogue ease fears of supply disruption, though they remain on track for strong monthly gains

** Energy majors Exxon Mobil XOM.N and Chevron CVX.N down 3.5% and 1.4% respectively

** Oil and gas producers: APA Corp APA.O, Devon Energy DVN.N, EOG Resources EOG.N and Occidental Petroleum OXY.N decline between 1.1% and 2.1%

** Oilfield services company SLB SLB.N down 2.6% and peer Halliburton HAL.N falls 2.1%

** Refiners: Marathon Petroleum MPC.N and Phillips 66 PSX.N down 2.8% and 0.8%, respectively
