Atlantic International named Guus Franke as executive chair of the board after it acquired the company he founded.
Franke, 50, founded the talent and workforce company Circle8 Group in 2021. Earlier this month, Atlantic International acquired Circle8.
Franke also founded the investment platform Axiom and has been its sole owner since 2018. He also co-founded the investment platform Pilatus and the investment structure and debt advisor Nedfact.
Franke will receive an annual base salary of $800,000, as well as a transaction bonus of $200,000 for any completed transaction of more than $8 million.
On Jan. 23, Atlantic International said it was buying Circle 8 in an all-stock deal. The acquisition is set to expand Atlantic International's geographic footprint into Europe and diversify its business.
Circle8 generated about $780 million in revenue last year, which is expected to grow to $1 billion organically in 2026.
The company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary. Franke is set to retain his role as chief executive of Circle8.
