Mondelez International Faces Mixed Sentiment Around Q4 Results, UBS Says

MT Newswires Live01-29

Mondelez International (MDLZ) is "quietly off to a very strong start" and is the top-performing company among peers, but there are mixed sentiments around its Q4 financial results as concerns on the topline trajectory offset optimism of earnings growth due to uncertainty on the organic sales growth in North America and Europe, UBS said in a note emailed Wednesday.

For Q4, UBS expects Mondelez organic revenue growth of 4.4%.

The brokerage said it would take a "wait and see" approach and consider if there is a meaningful organic sales growth at a better risk-reward ratio.

Mondelez said it will disclose its Q4 financial results on Tuesday.

UBS maintained its neutral rating on the stock and a $60 price target.
