Front Month Nymex Natural Gas for March (new front month) delivery gained 18.60 cents per million British thermal units, or 4.98% to $3.9180 per million British thermal units today

 

--Up for eight consecutive sessions

--Up 81.50 cents or 26.26% over the last eight sessions

--Largest eight day dollar and percentage gain since Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026

--Longest winning streak since Friday, July 2, 2021 when the market rose for nine straight sessions

--Up 11 of the past 13 sessions

--Today's settlement value is the seventh highest this year

--Lowest settlement value since Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026

--Off 47.48% from its 52-week high of $7.46 hit Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026

--Up 45.33% from its 52-week low of $2.696 hit Monday, Aug. 25, 2025

--Rose 28.59% from 52 weeks ago

--Off 47.48% from its 2026 settlement high of $7.46 hit Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026

--Up 26.26% from its 2026 settlement low of $3.103 hit Friday, Jan. 16, 2026
