Quanta Computer (TPE:2382) unit QMB awarded a contract worth 660 million Thai baht, or NT$660 million, for the construction of a new production plant in Thailand, according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Shares slid over 1% in Thursday's midday trade.
The deal was awarded to Cheer You Construction (Thailand) and covers construction and building materials.
The deal will support the company's capacity expansion needs.
