PowerBank Stock Climbs After Raising $13.7M in Offering

Shares of PowerBank rose after the company raised gross proceeds of $13.7 million through an offering of its common shares.
The stock rallied 18% to $1.83 on Tuesday. Shares have slid 39% over the past year.
The renewable energy project developer said it sold 7.7 million shares under the offering.
PowerBank expects to use the proceeds to develop its portfolio of renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar and battery energy storage, and strengthen its position as an independent power producer, among other functions.
