Singapore Airlines Jumps 2.6%. Collins Aerospace Extends FlightSense Contract With Singapore Airlines for Boeing 777 Fleet

RTX Corporation’s Collins Aerospace has extended its FlightSense services contract with Singapore Airlines for the carrier’s Boeing 777 fleet. The updated agreement adds up to five years and now covers a total of 27 aircraft, including five additional Boeing 777F aircraft.

Shares of Singapore Airlines up 2.6% in overnight trading.

FlightSense is a full lifecycle maintenance support program designed to improve operational performance and efficiency, and integrates advanced prognostics and health management software through Collins’ Ascentia platform. The service relationship between Collins Aerospace and Singapore Airlines began in 2008.
