LVMH's Core Unit Sales Look Set to Rebound -- Market Talk

Dow Jones02-03 15:52

0752 GMT - LVMH's fashion and leather goods division should have sales rebound visibly this year, HSBC analysts write in a note. The core labels Louis Vuitton and Dior are really the two out of the 75 brands the French conglomerate holds that can move the needle for the stock, the analysts say. "We are particularly enthusiastic on the comeback of Dior this year after a rough patch in 2024 and 2025," they say. This is due to several management shifts and new star designer, Jonathan Anderson, they add. Louis Vuitton won't grow as quickly as the rest of the division, but it should be able to maintain an exceptionally high EBIT margin of 48.8%, they say. HSBC confirms its buy rating on the stock.
