Keppel Pacific Oak US REIT's Early Dividends Are a Nice Surprise -- Market Talk

Dow Jones02-04 14:23

0623 GMT - Keppel Pacific Oak US REIT's early resumption of dividend payments is a positive surprise, RHB Research's Vijay Natarajan says in a research report. The REIT made about a 10% dividend payout in 2H 2025 and expects to gradually raise payouts to a stable 80% level, the analyst notes. Refinancing concerns related to the REIT have also been addressed with successful rollover of its 2026 loans, the analyst says. Moreover, the REIT remains confident of backfilling expected vacant space at its 'The Westpark Portfolio' in the U.S., with occupancy likely to reach mid- to high-80% by end-2026. RHB Research raises the REIT's rating to buy from neutral and the target price to US$0.30 from US$0.23. Units are 4.35% higher at US$0.24. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
