Copper Edges Lower as Inventories Build Up -- Market Talk

0208 GMT - Copper edges lower in early Asian trading, giving up earlier gains. Stockpiles at the Shanghai Futures Exchange are higher in recent weeks but remain below typical seasonal levels, ANZ analysts say in a commentary. The metals market remains volatile, with gold prices swinging sharply in recent days. The three-month LME copper contract is down 0.1% at $13,460.50 a ton. (tracy.qu@wsj.com)
