Kothari Industrial (BOM:509732) said it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Arsutoria, Italy, on Feb. 3, to explore a skill development program in India, according to same-day filing on BSE.
Shares of Kothari Industrial were up 5% in Wednesday's trade.
The proposed initiative will focus on training young designers in footwear and accessories, the filing said.
The company said the plan combines Arsutoria's global expertise with Kothari Industrial's infrastructure and operational abilities, and would move forward after definitive agreements are signed.
