Lloyds Banking Plans to Expand Corporate, Institutional Banking Business, FT Says, Citing Sources

--Lloyds Banking Group plans to expand its corporate and institutional banking business, which it sees as a key growth driver, the FT reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The move will see Lloyds, which is due to unveil its next strategic update in July, grow its U.S. office and other international locations, the FT reports. However, the paper says the bank won't grow internationally at scale, nor compete with U.S. banks.

--Lloyds declined to comment to the FT.
