Advanced Micro Devices is still facing uncertainty regarding trade with China. The chipmaker's sales in the fourth quarter got a $390 million bump from the release of inventory to Chinese customers following a trade restriction placed on Chinese trade by the Trump administration. AMD also expects to bring in $100 million in sales from China in the current first quarter. But Chief Executive Lisa Su tells investors that management is not including sales with China in its longer-term forecasts because the trade situation is "dynamic." "We've submitted licenses for the MI325 and we're continuing to work with customers and understanding their customer demand," Su says, referring to AMD's China business. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
