- BlueScope Steel BSL.AX isn't in talks with suitors Steel Dynamics STLD.O and SGH but would be open to a takeover proposal that meets its expectations, the company's new chief executive officer said.

- Paris-based Capgemini CAPP.PA has decided to sell a division that does business with ICE, after it emerged that the company has a contract with the agency to help track immigrants.

- U.S. President Donald Trump said the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will close for two years for renovations, a move he said would turn the venerated national cultural institution into a "new and spectacular Entertainment Complex."
