Freightways Group (ASX:FRW, NZE:FRW) completed the acquisition of the business and assets of Victoria-based VT Freight Express (VTFE), according to a Monday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
VTFE is an express freight operator that delivers both parcels and palletized freight, per the filing.
The acquisition strengthens the company's presence in the Australian express market, complementing its Allied Express business-to-consumer services, the filing added.
