Apple (AAPL) iPhones will accompany NASA astronauts on the next moon mission, Bloomberg reported on Friday.
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said in a post on X Wednesday that astronauts will soon fly with "the latest smartphones," including on the Artemis II lunar flyby mission scheduled for March.
"We are giving our crews the tools to capture special moments for their families and share inspiring images and video with the world," Isaacman said in the post
The smartphones provided for the upcoming flights are iPhones, but the agency said other devices may be certified in the future, Bloomberg reported.
Apple didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
