Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) said drilling results continued to extend the known mineralization at its Cerro Bayo silver-gold project in Chile, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling at the Appaloosa target returned an intercept of 46.4 meters at 219 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of silver-equivalent, including 31 g/t grade of silver and 2.3 g/t grade of gold, the filing said. Appaloosa is expected to be evaluated as a combined open pit and underground option during 2026 study work.
The Temer Vein complex drilling resulted in an intercept of 0.8 meters at 4,131 g/t grade of silver-equivalent, including 1,372 g/t grade of silver and 33.2 g/t grade of gold.
Andean Silver's shares climbed over 6% in recent trading on Monday.
