0351 GMT - Universal Robina's net profit growth is likely to accelerate to 8% this year from an estimated 4% in 2025, Maybank Securities' Daphne Sze says in a research report. Earnings drivers include sales volume-led growth of its branded consumer food business in the Philippines, and an operational Malvar plant, which is expected to boost production for the company's snacks line, the analyst says. However, the brokerage cuts its 2026 net profit forecast for the Philippine food and beverage maker by 7% to reflect elevated coffee prices. It lowers the stock's target price to PHP101.00 from PHP105.00, with an unchanged buy rating. Shares are 1.4% higher at PHP74.80. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
