Blackstone's (BX) Blackstone Tactical Opportunities, Blackstone Credit & Insurance, and affiliated funds have invested $10 billion in artificial intelligence infrastructure company Firmus, Firmus said Monday.

The financing, also supported by investment firm Coatue, will fund Firmus' project Southgate, its national launch of AI Factory platform, it said. The platform is based on Nvidia's (NVDA) DSX reference architecture.

Firmus said it is already building AI factories across multiple Australian locations.
