1031 GMT - L'Oreal's 2025 results proved another missed opportunity, but the market should focus on what matters most, analysts at UBS write in a note. The French beauty giant closed last year with weaker-than-expected results. Investors' focus was on adverse one-offs, especially the challenging market backdrop in Asian travel retail that overshadowed the company's underlying progress, UBS says. "We believe the market should rapidly see through the last two quarters' underwhelming headline numbers." Investors should pay more attention to the company's compelling investment case, they add. Relevant factors include an improvement in like-for-like sales growth, a strong start to the year and a number of acquisitions that bring revenue synergy opportunities, they say. Paris-listed shares are up 3.5%. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
