Clorox Sees Scale Benefits from Gojo Acquisition -- Market Talk

Dow Jones02-20

1542 ET - Clorox expects to benefit from scale in its enterprise business after its acquisition of Purell maker Gojo Industries, Chief Executive Officer Linda Rendle says at the 2026 Consumer Analyst Group of New York conference. Currently, Purell dominates in business-to-business sales, while Clorox mostly focuses on retail and only sells to businesses "in very distinct and small segments," she says. Gojo will not only add complementary business segments, but allow the company to supply a more holistic set of wellness and cleaning products in settings such as nursing stations, where businesses use several products in conjunction with one another. "That really will help us drive scale and sales," she says. (elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
