Accenture (ACN) has begun tracking staff use of its AI tools as a criteria for how it decides on promotions as part of an attempt to prod older employees to use the technology, the Financial Times reported, citing internal communications and people familiar with the matter.
The company has informed associate directors and senior managers that promotions would depend on "regular adoption" of AI, the report said.
Accenture this month began amassing data on senior employee log-ins to its AI tools, the report said.
"Use of our key tools will be a visible input to talent discussions," FT cited an email to employees as saying.
Accenture did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
