Dow Jones02-19

1122 ET - Philip Morris International sees substantial potential to expand its smoke-free nicotine products globally, especially through pursuing a multicategory strategy, Chief Executive Jacek Olczak says at the 2026 Consumer Analyst Group of New York conference. He says that while combustible tobacco products still represent 81% of the global nicotine market, smoke-free product sales are growing by double-digits. The company has additionally seen 15% growth in markets where it has more than one smoke-free product available, compared with 10% growth in markets with only one product, he says. Olczak adds that in 2025, Philip Morris had a 65% combined market share of smoke-free markets, compared to a 24% share of the cigarette market. (elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
