Diageo (DEO) Chief Executive Dave Lewis plans major changes to the alcoholic beverages company's top management, the Financial Times reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Lewis plans to replace several officials on the company's 14-member executive committee as part of "wholesale change" at a firm whose employees have become "fat and happy," the report said, citing a person familiar with the matter.

Diageo did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
