Harvey Norman Holdings (ASX:HVN) is facing class action proceedings regarding the promotion of Latitude Finance Australia interest free payment plans, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company is listed as the second defendant in the proceedings, the filing said.
The case includes claims for restitution and payment of damages, and to declare any relevant consumer agreements with Latitude Finance Australia as null and void, the filing added.
The claims also includes interest and costs for the first plaintiff, second plaintiff and group members, the company said.
The company intends to defend the proceedings, the filing added.
Shares of the company fell past 1% in recent Monday trade.
