Adds new items, updates futures
Feb 23 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Monday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.2%.
* JOHNSON MATTHEY: Johnson Matthey JMAT.L agreed to slash the sale price of its catalyst technologies business to Honeywell HON.O to 1.33 billion pounds.
* SMITHS NEWS: The UK pensions regulator has issued a warning notice to Smiths News SNWS.L and other parties related to the Tuffnells Parcels Express pension scheme, which may lead to the newspapers and magazines distributor to contribute financial support, it said.
* LEGAL & GENERAL: Legal & General LGEN.L has committed up to $1 billion over the next five years to become a cornerstone investor in a major new wave of "debt-for-nature" swaps in developing countries, it has told Reuters.
* CAPRICORN ENERGY: Capricorn Energy CNE.L said it expects higher production in 2026 compared with last year.
* ENQUEST: EnQuest ENQ.L forecast lower annual production after storm damage to a third-party platform forced a five-week outage at its Magnus oilfield.
* ROLLS-ROYCE: Rolls-Royce RR.L is expected to announce alongside its annual results this week that it will launch a fresh share buyback worth as much as 1.5 billion pounds, Sky News reported. Separately, it is urging the UK government to commit to taxpayer support for the 3 billion pounds development of a new aircraft engine project, the Financial Times reported.
* BP: BP's BP.L Olympic Pipeline has resumed operations following two-day maintenance work, the company said.
* CARNIVAL: Carnival CCL.N, CCL.L will unify its parallel listings in New York and London and redomicile to Bermuda, the cruise operator said.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices fell, LME copper hit a more than one-week high, while gold climbed to a three-week high.
