Argent Minerals (ASX:ARD) found visible gold at its Kempfield and Trunkey Creek projects in New South Wales, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Visible gold was observed at Kempfield in a diamond drill hole within Lode 100, while quartz vein material containing visible gold was identified from Trunkey Creek's historical mullock dumps, the filing said.
Assay results are expected to be received within four weeks, per the filing.
Shares rose 3% in midday trade on Tuesday.
