Aalyria, a spinout from Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google, said Monday that it closed its $100 million Series B financing, putting its valuation at $1.3 billion.
Aalyria said it will use the proceeds from the funding round, led by Battery Ventures and J2 Ventures, to scale its Tightbeam optical technology and Spacetime orchestration platform.
Aalyria was formed in 2021, built on innovations initially developed at Google, according to the statement. The company was reportedly spun out in 2022.
