Tech stocks were lower late Monday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) falling 2% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) down 1.8%.
The Philadelphia Semiconductor index decreased 1.2%.
In corporate news, Palantir Technologies (PLTR) has filed a lawsuit against Swiss magazine Republik, which published articles revealing the company's failed attempts to win federal contracts from the Swiss government, the Financial Times reported. Palantir shares were down 3.9%.
