ISTANBUL, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Thursday.
The lira TRYTOM=D3 was quoted at 43.8850 against the U.S. dollar at 0450 GMT, after closing at 43.8705 on Wednesday.
The BIST 100 index closed at 13,809.88 points on Wednesday, down 1.71% from the previous session's close.
GLOBAL MARKETS
Asian stocks advanced on Thursday after upbeat earnings from Nvidia soothed concerns over AI-driven disruption and rising costs, while the yen was in the doldrums, bogged down by a murky rate outlook in Japan.
ERDOGAN PROGRAMME
