Market Chatter: Costco, FedEx, Goodyear Among Companies Seeking Tariff Refunds

MT Newswires Live02-26

Costco Wholesale (COST), FedEx (FDX), and Goodyear Tire & Rubber (GT) are among the roughly 1,800 companies that have filed lawsuits seeking refunds after the recent Supreme Court ruling that struck down many of President Donald Trump's tariffs, The Wall Street Journal reported late Wednesday.

In a court filing, the administration's lawyers said companies could get refunds with interest if the tariffs were ultimately ruled unlawful, according to the report. On Friday, Trump told a reporter that the administration has not discussed refunds and that "we'll end up being in court for the next five years," the report said.

Costco Wholesale and FedEx did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment, while Goodyear could not be reached.
