NextEra Energy Plans Public Offering of $2 Billion of Equity Units

NextEra Energy (NEE) said Thursday it plans to sell $2 billion of equity units in a public offering.

The company expects to grant an overallotment option to the underwriters to purchase up to an additional $300 million of the units.
