Pearson (PSO) reported Friday 2025 preliminary adjusted earnings of 0.65 British pounds ($0.87) per share, up from 0.61 pounds a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected 0.63 pounds.
Revenue increased to 3.58 billion pounds from 3.55 billion pounds in 2024.

For 2026, Pearson said it expects mid-single-digit underlying sales growth.
The company said Chief Financial Officer Sally Johnson will step down later this year to take up a CFO role at an unnamed privately-owned business.
It added that Simon Robson, currently CFO at Sky, will join Pearson on March 30 and assume the role of Group CFO on May 8.
